  • One of the best meals I’ve had in Japan, absolutely delicious and so worth it. I didn’t know a reservation was needed at first, so when I went there the first time, I couldn’t get a seat. I decided to come back the following day, much earlier this time, and I’m so glad I did because it turned out to be the best decision. The burger patty was incredibly good and tender, and the whole experience felt truly one of a kind. It’s a unique dining experience that you really need to try at least once. I left so full and satisfied. Highly recommended!

  • We went around lunchtime without a reservation and were asked to return after an hour. Luckily, our hotel was just a 4-minute walk away. The staff were organized and the system was smooth. While waiting, we could prepare our own condiments, which was a nice touch. The patties were cooled on a separate grill before being served, and both the rice and soup were brought out just before the first patty was served, ensuring everything was fresh. There’s even a guide on how to best enjoy each of the three patties. Overall, a great experience!

  • Hikiniku to Come is a Japanese-style burger spot that offers a truly unique and immersive dining experience—definitely not your typical burger joint. The setup is counter-style, with the cooking area right in the middle and diners seated around it in a figure-eight configuration. The chefs grill each burger right in front of you—over charcoal flames—which you can both see and feel, adding an amazing depth of flavor and a touch of drama to the whole experience. Each order includes three mini charcoal-grilled burgers, unlimited rice, a raw egg, and an array of sauces for mixing and matching. The burgers were incredibly juicy and full of flavor, perfectly charred on the outside while staying moist inside. I didn’t have a reservation, so I had to return after a two-hour wait, but the surrounding area is filled with charming shops that made the time pass quickly. This was only my second time trying this type of burger experience—and by far the better one. From the flavors to the showmanship, it’s a meal that’s hard to forget. Highly recommended if you’re looking for something deliciously different.

  • One of the most satisfying meals I had in Fukuoka. This restaurant specializes in freshly grilled minced beef and rice, served sizzling hot right in front of you. The aroma, the sound, and the flavor — everything was perfectly balanced. The beef was juicy and full of umami, and the rice had just the right texture to soak up the sauce. Each bite was simple but incredibly comforting. The staff were friendly and efficient, and even though it’s a small place, it feels warm and well-organized. Expect to wait a little since it’s popular, but it’s absolutely worth it. A must-visit spot if you want to experience Japan’s take on comfort food done perfectly.

  • Delicious beef patties cooked over grill and fire. Interesting array of condiments to go with the meat. Try experimenting with the flavours, it will surprise you how good the meat tastes. There's also unlimited servings of white rice. Overall a nice dining experience.

  • The queue management system is very well organized. The atmosphere is great, and the staff’s energy and sense of fun really create a lively vibe. I loved how they guide you step by step on how to enjoy the meal — it makes the experience fun and engaging. The food quality is excellent, especially the rice, which was outstanding. The ponzu sauce adds a refreshing touch, and the flavors are delicious overall. Prices are reasonable, and I would definitely love to come back again.

  • I believe they have a ticketing system if you decide to walk in but we recommend booking in advance to avoid potential long queues. They generally discourage lingering at the venue when finish eating and they work efficiently to ensure you get your food in a timely manner so the time inside is as short as possible to welcome the next guest. So most people would get the hamburger set where you will receive three and there’s instructions that guide you to best enjoy the meal. They provide plenty of condiments to enhance the flavour but the first bite should just be the burger itself to know what you’re working with. For your third hamburger you can grab just one fresh egg to make a dip with soy sauce for your burger or to add to your rice (which can be refilled). We did notice that if you speak Japanese, you do get better service so definitely brush up on it. One thing that kinda disliked was when we were moving, a male staff to get my attention would grab my shoulder to do so. Besides that, it was a great experience to try and I would recommend. Drinks can be bought from outside and brought in (card only) and additional sides can be purchased before seating at the ‘vending’ machine.

  • The hamburg steak is super delicious and juicy, with lots of dipping sauces. You get unlimited rice and eggs too. You need to book a time slot and come back at your reserved time. it’s close to the Daimyo area, so you can walk around while waiting.
